2026-27 Season

Rock City Hockey Fall Preseason Program

Birth Years: 2008–2011, plus 2012-born players entering ninth grade

The Rock City Hockey Fall Preseason Program is designed for high school players who want to prepare for the winter season in a structured, competitive, team-based environment.

Players will practice weekly from late August through mid-October. Practices are currently being scheduled and are expected to take place at Garfield Heights, North Olmsted, Euclid, and Mentor.

Registration and Cost Structure

$130 Registration Fee

The registration fee covers all scheduled team practices and uniform costs for the duration of the program.

Registration closes August 10, 2026. All players must be registered with USA Hockey.

Tournament Participation — À La Carte

Players will have opportunities to participate in Cleveland-area tournaments on an à la carte basis. Potential tournament dates include:

August 28–30

September 11–13

September 18–20

September 25–27

October 9–11

Tournament participation is optional, and tournament fees will be billed separately. Fees are expected to range from $125–$150 per event, depending on team size and roster count.

Tournament fees will be due two weeks before each event. Player lists and payment reminders will be sent before billing. Once a tournament reaches the two-week payment window, tournament fees are nonrefundable.

Registration will be combined across the eligible age group. Tournament rosters will be formed based on registration numbers, positional balance, and player availability. Rosters will be announced in mid-August, at least two weeks before the first tournament.

This program provides competitive preseason hockey with flexibility, allowing players to prepare for the winter season while maintaining development, pace, and team structure.
